The RACP's Advanced Training curriculum for General Paediatrics has been renewed through a 5-stage process, with implementation occurring from 2027 onwards with first year trainees.
First year trainees who start Advanced Training in General Paediatrics in 2027 will follow the new curriculum including the curriculum standards and work-based learning and assessment tools supported by the Training Management Platform (TMP).
This will change how trainees and educators plan learning, record feedback, and assess performance against the standards to determine how trainees progress through training.
3 Town Hall sessions are being held to give stakeholders & College members an opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the new curriculum.
Members of the Training Program Committee – General Paediatrics (Australia) and College Staff will be online and available to support the discussion and answer any questions.
